Your first complete workflow.
From your customer account and product access to checked output: the essential steps for getting started.
1. Prepare your account and access
Sign in, choose your company and check access under Plan & licences. Configure suitable additional protection under Profile & security.
2. Start with a familiar pattern
Choose a simple product with familiar dimensions and construction. Record units, reference measurements, piece count and material direction. Explore these relationships first in the browser example.
Product demo
Move pattern pieces and change dimensions, material widths or quantities in interactive illustrations.
Explore →02 ↗Digitising paper patterns
A practical guide to existing paper patterns: preparation, reference dimensions, contour cleanup and verification of the digital master.
Explore →03 ↗DXF guide
Units, contours, layers and notches: what to check when exchanging DXF pattern files between CAD systems and cutting software.
Explore →3. Check the complete output
Check contours, allowances and notches. Verify variants and nesting with consistent material rules. Reopen the exported file in the target system and compare several reference measurements.
Seam allowances & notches
Distinguish cut edges, stitch lines and notches: a guide to clear textile patterns and a useful manufacturing handover.
Explore →02 ↗Understanding nesting
How do you calculate marker utilisation? Learn which constraints matter and how to compare nesting results fairly.
Explore →03 ↗Compatibility
CutCortex file formats: .textil.json, PDF output, SVG, ASCII-DXF, ABL and limited PatternSmith projects. Check import, export and limitations.
Explore →4. Record a repeatable workflow
Record settings, pattern revision and open questions. The evaluation plan helps document results for your own job. Specific application commands will be added once the interface is released.
